In 2012 I graduated from a four year marketing degree with highest honours, which included a one year working secondment in data and statistical analysis and a three month work placement providing digital marketing in an architecture firm.
Following my graduation I took some time out to travel Europe by rail before returning to England and taking a marketing internship at a large University. Within the first three months of my twelve month contract I was promoted to permanent staff and over the next two years I was involved in many campaigns from video production and photography, to social media and web marketing. My intimate knowledge of how to operate and network within academic circles allows me to provide industry-tailored insights to individual academics and educational bodies, with new approaches to exposure and self-promotion that are necessary in today’s academic world.
I have also gained a wealth of experience in supporting young enterprises with developing their strategies in a digital world. Having worked with people across a variety of industries (including but not limited to: architects, bar owners, bands, caterers, and researchers) at different stages of implementing their marketing plan I am able to lay the foundations of marketing, offer training to support you or your colleagues in the best use of digital media for promoting your initiative, or review current processes and metrics and consult on how to advance further.
